Where in the Phoenix Beer World?

Do you know where in the beer world this photo was taken?
How does it relate to Arizona beer?

The concept is simple. We post a picture that is relevant to the Phoenix beer scene and you try and identify it. Sometimes there will be a larger story involved, but often there will not. So, for glory and a tip of the glass next time we see you.

Answer after the jump!

The correct location as noted by @swbnhoptips on twitter is Steele Indian School Park.

Here is the story behind the picture.

The photo was snapped during the Fourth of July and was supplied by Jerry Gannt, Executive Director of the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild. The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild was the site of the 2011 Arizona Strong Beer Fest.

The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild was first among other donors to supply the funds to replace and maintain the giant flag that flies at the Park. According to Jo Marie McDonald, Vice President of the Phoenix Community Alliance, the park needs several flags for this pole since our seasonally strong winds and high heat cause substantial damage. The  mechanized pole also needed repair. Raising the flag manually takes up to an hour and the flag requires 30 people to carry it. Each flag costs about $600.

The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild was recognized at the July 4th celebration along with other donors in a patriotic ceremony.

The park would like to purchase a special flag now to fly through a monsoon storm or highwinds.
